Common drills we are going to perform at the start of practice.

Star drill - from the UWH Trainer - #2 - Developing Skills & Individual Drills

Star Drill

The star drill is intended to practice moving the puck around the body under complete control and with a stable body position. The Stars drill practices this while sitting static. The puck is moved around the body as shown in the diagram. Practice moving the puck in a straight line.

While performing the drill remeber to utilise all areas of the stick and various grips. Once you feel comfortable with this movement in a static position, perform the movement while swimming.
