Underwater Hockey is a fast sport played on the bottom of a pool by teams of 6 players with masks, snorkels, fins and short sticks. Played on the bottom of the pool with sticks, gloves, masks and fins it is unlike anything you've ever seen before. It's a real 3D game where you must learn when to dive down, use your awesome skills and pass off to your teammates to score against the opposing team.
Underwater Hockey is a limited contact, co-ed sport in which men and women can compete on equal terms. It's about teamwork and skill, more than raw strength. And, no matter what your skill level, Underwater Hockey is a great way to have lots of fun, get fit, and make new friends.
Oh, and you can't communicate.
Being unable to talk to your teammates might seem counterintuitive, but you build trust and friendship that carries on past the pool.
Our Alexandria-based underwater hockey club welcomes players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, we have a place for you in our friendly and supportive community.
